WELKOM!
'Switi' means sweet in Sranan Tongo, Suriname's local language. I've fallen head over heels for this switi, though little known, country just north of the equator. I hope you do too.
Information on my Surinamese placement with Canadian Crossroads International (CCI) and an HIV/AIDS fact sheet are just to your right.
Links to blogs I kept while overseas are below that, detailing everything from the organizations I worked with to the piranhas I swam with.
More importantly, I want you to flex your own do-gooder muscles from your city, your community and your computer desk chair.

I'd love to hear from you. Post your comments or send me an email at c[dot]milic[at]gmail[dot]com.
